Hot Chocolate Design
During the Learning From Home period, a Food Studies competition ran that allowed students to design a new hot chocolate for COCO Chocolate Company located in Chirnside Park Shopping Centre. COCO specialises in gourmet hot chocolates as well as cakes and bon bons.
The winning design for each class was rewarded by having their creation placed on the menu as a specialty item for a week.

• Thickened cream
• Cream cheese
• Lemon juice
• Cinnamon sugar
• Palmier cinnamon biscuits
• topped with mini cinnamon scrolls​
Christmas Hampers
This term, the Year 9 Food Studies class has been busy making their products for their Christmas hampers. They produced choc chip shortbread, ruby red berry jam, vanilla, cranberry and lemon biscotti, lemon curd and a celebration fruit cake which they enjoyed decorating with festive fondant decorations. They adorned them with labels and wrapped them in a beautiful hamper to take home. We hope the parents, or whoever they were gifted to, enjoyed the fruits of their labour!
